FILM

First and foremost, I am a filmmaker. I have pursued filmmaking professionally for ten years and intend to continue my journey as an artist. The films showcased in this section have each made an impact on the trajectory of my career. The Plight & Desertion of Arthur Leigh Hazelwood (2020,) screened at the Arizona International Film Festival in 2023 and the Nassau Film Festival in 2023 where it was awarded best student short film. From the Shadows of Desert Rocks (2021,) was my University of New Mexico thesis film. This production, made at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, was one of the only capstone thesis films completed during my senior year in college. This film would go on to screen at the 2022 Arizona International Film Festival, Golden Door Film Festival, 2022 New Haven International Film Festival, and the Oscar accredited Santa Fe International Film Festival in 2022. Also included is my latest short film, Upon the Railroad Earth. This film was my first short film made out of college. Independently funded, and shot with a very small crew, this film screened at the Jersey Shore Film Festival where it was awarded the festival’s Hitchcock Award. The film was shared by Kodak Motion Picture on their official Instagram as well.
